Fiona is ENODA's Principal Metallurgist, bringing over 30 years’ experience in electrical steels, metals and materials R&D, and materials processing technologies to the Materials team. Fiona has industrial, research, academic and consulting experience of non-oriented and grain oriented electrical steels, process and product development, data analytics and problem solving. In addition to this, Fiona has expertise in coatings and other metals.

Fiona holds undergraduate and PhD degrees in Metallurgy & Materials Engineering together with a specialist MBA in Technology Management. She is a Fellow of IOM3, Chair of their Energy Materials Steering Committee, and the 2025 recipient of the T B Marsden Professional Medal.
