Driving Scalability: ENODA, Huntsman and HÜBERS Collaborate to Advance Manufacturing Processes

Colleagues from ENODA, Huntsman Corporation and HÜBERS, recently came together in Monthey, Switzerland, to design, coordinate and plan the resin encapsulation process for Enoda PRIME® Exchanger windings. This marks an important milestone in our manufacturing journey, bringing together key partners and expertise to support both the industrialisation of our technology and the platform shift we are driving across the energy industry.

The session brought together more than 30 colleagues from around the world, spanning design engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemistry, physics, supply chain, quality assurance and senior leadership.

The collaboration generated valuable insights that will help inform the next phase of ENODA's manufacturing scale-up, deepening our understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with transitioning innovative technology into high-volume production.

Equally important was the opportunity to bring together expertise from across organisations, disciplines and geographies. As ENODA continues to grow, success will increasingly depend on strong collaboration across our supply ecosystem—creating shared ways of working, accelerating learning and enabling faster, more effective problem-solving.

Huntsman and HÜBERS are complementary innovation partners supporting the industrialisation of ENODA’s winding encapsulation at scale. Huntsman lead the chemistry layer, in developing resin formulations to support ENODA's thermal, dielectric, mechanical and productivity requirements; while HÜBERS leads the process and equipment layer, commissioning the casting systems to deliver encapsulated windings at ENODA scale.

This is what progress towards industrialisation looks like: partners working side by side, combining world-class expertise and building the foundations that will help transform ambitious engineering into scalable manufacturing.
