Peter has 20 years’ experience in materials innovation and development, the application of advanced synchrotron and neutron science to materials and engineering problems, and commercialisation of novel technology in regulated industries. He has expertise across energy technologies, electrochemical systems, semiconductors, vehicle engine technology, oil and gas, defence, aerospace, and med-tech, from fundamental R&D to scalable materials processing and manufacture.

Peter holds an undergraduate masters degree in chemistry and a PhD in solid state physics from University College London and the Royal Institution.
